Workshop on creative movie scripts in counselling – testing a new technique
The main objective of this workshop is to explore the use of creative movie scripts in building rapport with clients as well as connecting and reflecting real life issues in the counselling process. This new technique aims to facilitate the interpersonal and intrapersonal communications of both the counsellor and the counsellee.The first-ever movie script, written by A/P Lui Hah Wah Elena, is used in this workshop.  Counsellors, social workers and teachers gave very favorable comments on how they have benefitted from workshops held in May and August 2010.
